If you have been given a disciplinary sanction (such as a verbal warning, written warning, final written warning, unpaid suspension or demotion) and you don't think it's fair, we can advise you on what your options are. Are you owed money?

If you believe that your employer owes you wages, overtime pay, holiday pay, sick pay, notice pay, bonus pay or commission, we can advise you on your options – including the process for making a claim for breach of contract or unlawful deductions from wages. Do you have restrictive covenants?

A restrictive covenant is a clause in your contract of employment or employee handbook that stops you from working for a competitor of your employer or from soliciting or poaching customers of your employer after you leave. If you have restrictive covenants and are worried about whether it will stop you from finding work, we can advise you on whether the restrictive covenants are lawful and whether they can be enforced against you. Have you been bullied?

If you have been, or are being, bullied at work then we may be able to help you. Bullying can take different forms and might include harassment, discrimination (because of your sex, colour, race, nationality, religion, belief, sexual orientation, disability or age), victimisation, intimidation (such as threatening or aggressive behaviour) or humiliation (such as belittling or exclusion). Do you have a disability?

If you are disabled your employer has additional responsibilities to help make sure that your disability doesn't mean that you are disadvantaged. If you believe that you have been badly treated or overlooked as a result of your disability or you are worried that your job is at risk as a result of your disability or time off work, you may have been discriminated against. We know that you need to find out about your legal rights and understand your options before you can decide whether to incur the costs of hiring a solicitor.

We operate a clinic for new enquiries, which allows for an appointment of up to half an hour for a fixed fee of £100 (inclusive of VAT and charges). This arrangement is suitable for dealing with initial enquiries about your employment if you have not used our firm before and would like to find out more about your legal rights and how we might be able to help you. If, as a result, you would like on-going advice and support, or representation in Court or Employment Tribunal proceedings, we would be happy to provide this and will discuss likely costs with you before taking any further action.
