We received the wonderful news last week that Eaton Smith have been once again shortlisted in the “Best Legal Services Supplier” category in the prestigious national TIGA Awards that are taking place in London on 28 November. The TIGA Awards are to showcase excellence in video games development, service providers and education and sees development studios, publishers, QA/Localisation providers, universities, art studios, games services businesses and professional services firms coming together to celebrate the achievements of those within the industry.

As past winners (2020 and 2022) and having been finalists as well in 2019, 2021 and 2023, the Eaton Smith Video Games Team has maintained the excellent legal work, excellent customer service and excellent commercial results for clients that the judges were looking for. The work that we have carried out for our clients has included a very wide range of activities (both domestic and international) and has covered all aspects of game development and publishing, distribution and marketing, equity investments into various clients, setting up publishers, real estate advice and employment. In addition to helping our clients in those ways, we have also been looking to help future generations of developers and have, amongst other things, given various webinars on IP and setting up games studios.
