Eaton Smith and YesPI join forces with PDAP and KCRASAC to open domestic abuse and sexual violence help centre
Eaton Smith Solicitors and Yes Personal Injury Lawyers are proud to announce that they will be partnering with the Pennine Domestic Abuse Partnership and Kirklees, Calderdale & Wakefield Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre to open a new free help and advice Centre to the public.
PDAP is a registered charity that provides high quality specialist support, advice, information, and safe accommodation to anyone affected by or experiencing domestic abuse in Kirklees.
They provide emergency accommodation and 24-hour helpline, Live Chat Service and Outreach Support within the community. They support all victims of Domestic Abuse to achieve safety and recovery.
Pennine Domestic Abuse Partnership believes that Domestic Abuse is everyone’s business, and they cannot do this alone. They are committed to working in partnership and believe that the quality and effectiveness of their services are a result of the strong working partnerships we have within Kirklees.
Emily Scott, IDVA Service Manager at PDAP had this to say: “We are really excited to be able to offer a walk in Domestic Abuse Advice Centre in Huddersfield for the whole community to access support and advice face to face from an experienced team of practitioners”.
KCRASAC is a registered charity providing specialist support services to anyone who has experienced rape, sexual and domestic violence. They have been delivering services since 1989 and are committed to ensuring that all services are consistently accessible to everyone.
KCRASAC is committed to providing a confidential Support Service’s for its Service Users and believe confidentiality is of paramount importance in all aspects of their work undertaken by any worker at KCRASAC. KCRASAC is currently in the process of applying to be registered as a CIO and will soon be under the name ‘RASAC’.
The free advice Centre is due to launch on Thursday 16th February at Yes Personal Injury, 12 High Street, Huddersfield, HD1 2HA, and will be open to the public every Thursday 9am-3pm.
