Eaton Smith's Domestic Abuse Team provides specialist legal advice and representation to individuals affected by domestic abuse, helping clients secure protection, navigate family proceedings and pursue compensation where appropriate. The team understands the significant emotional and practical challenges that domestic abuse can create and is committed to providing clear, sensitive and effective legal support at every stage.

Headed by Associate Lindsay Preston, the team brings extensive experience in domestic abuse matters, family law and abuse-related compensation claims. With more than 15 years' legal experience, Lindsay has dedicated her career to supporting vulnerable individuals and families, helping clients obtain protective injunctions, resolve issues involving children and secure compensation through the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA).

Working alongside Lindsay are Morgan Firth and Elle Hoddinott, Paralegals who support clients across a range of domestic abuse and family law matters. Together, the team advises on:
