Eaton Smith is delighted to welcome Gloria Benstead as the firm's new head of marketing, bringing with her a wealth of experience, international business expertise, and a passion for driving growth through strategic marketing.

Gloria joins the firm following a varied and successful career spanning both the education and telecommunications sectors. Her professional journey has taken her across the globe, including several years living in Ecuador, where she successfully established and grew a chain of language schools.

Since joining Eaton Smith, Gloria has wasted no time in making her mark. She is leading a comprehensive reorganisation of the marketing function, introducing a more strategic and structured approach across the business.

Key initiatives already underway include:

• Building an increased pipeline of high-quality content across multiple channels.
• Strengthening and organising the firm's social media presence.
• Developing strategic marketing plans for all departments.
• Taking the lead on major events, including the forthcoming Property Forum in partnership with Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
   

Gloria is also introducing new project management systems and planning tools to improve collaboration and visibility across marketing activities.

One colleague experiencing this first-hand is Danny Martin, who has found himself immersed in project software, planning boards and workflows as part of the team's transformation.

"Danny is being thrown into the world of project management software and whiteboards," Gloria joked. "But we're forging a great team and building something really exciting together."

Outside of work, Gloria is a devoted cat lover and a budding author, bringing plenty of creativity and enthusiasm to everything she does.

Speaking about her first impressions of Eaton Smith, Gloria said:
