Game Republic is the largest industry-led games business network in the North of England. The network supports and promotes the Yorkshire and Northern England games industry, with members including Rockstar Leeds, Rebellion North, Sumo Digital, Revolution Software, Boneloaf, Escape Technology, the University of Huddersfield, Team17 and Double Eleven, to name just a handful of its illustrious members.

2023 sees Game Republic celebrating its 20th anniversary and to mark this fantastic milestone it is hosting the Game Republic 20th Anniversary Awards. The awards will celebrate the numerous triumphs and accomplishments of our amazing games developers and games-related businesses in Yorkshire and the North of England. Nominations are now being accepted through Game Republic’s web page (Awards - Game Republic) and the nomination period closes on 30th September 2023.

Award categories include recognition of companies doing great work in their communities, in inclusivity and sustainability as well as naming a Games Legend, best studios in differing size categories and – what is surely to be a hotly contested category - The Best Game Ever Made in Yorkshire and The North. The Awards also recognise the educators in the network with awards for inspiring course leaders and game related research.
