Our client company is a long-established and respected member of the West Yorkshire legal market and has one of the region’s leading family-law teams, providing a full range of family-law services.

Due to an ongoing increase of work, they are looking to recruit a Child Care Solicitor to join the department.

The Role

The team strives to maintain its excellent reputation by providing effective, practical legal services to clients for Care and Family matters. 

You will:

Be expected to manage your own Child Care caseload and provide support to other fee earners within the department. This may include some private law children work. 

The role will include providing representation at Court, by way of conducting your own advocacy, wherever possible. 

The Candidate

You will be a qualified solicitor with at least 2 years PQE

Childcare Panel Member 

Have proven advocacy experience

Excellent interpersonal skills including written and oral communication skills

A strong teamwork ethic and be prepared to adapt and act with initiative

Ability to meet time and cost targets
